Weddings at The Wagga Boat Club

 

Please consider the following before contacting the Club. 

 

 

Things to think about before booking :

 

Date:   What date are you thinking of for your function? If you are set on a specific date, please ensure to book early to avoid disappointment. If you do not have a specific date in mind, perhaps consider having a couple of dates in mind. 

 

 

Number:   How many people will be attending your function? It's ok not to know the exact number, but an estimate is greatly appreciated when booking. 

 

 

Function Type:   What is your function for? Is it a birthday party, wedding, reception, anniversary?

 

 

Function Area:   Which function area were you thinking of for your function? Would you like the Upstairs Private Function Area, which requires a room hire fee, or the Downstairs/Alfresco Area, which does not require a hire fee however member's of the public will be allowed to enter. 

 

 

Room Hire:   The Upstairs function area requires a room hire fee of $350.00 (as of 01/05/2016) (applies to new bookings only), which is non-refundable. This ensures privacy for both you and your guests. 

 

 

Seating (Upstairs):   The upstairs function area can hold 130 guests seated with dance floor available, or up to 180 guests seated with no dance floor. 

 

 

Entertainment:   Will you have a DJ/Band or you can bring your own music (via ipod/iphone), which can be plugged into our speakers. We also have local DJ's/entertainers that play regularly at our Sunday Sessions that can be contacted if you would like live music. Please see a list of suggested entertainers in our downloadable Wedding Package Booklet.

 

 

Food:   Our restaurant is able to cater to all your function needs from finger food to sit down dinners. Various Menus are available including three/two/one course sit down, BBQ Buffet, Seafood Buffet or Fingerfood. These menus and prices can be found in the drop down function menu above or by

 

 

Decorations:   Will you be decorating your function area? If so, what time on the day of the function will you need to set up? Your booking fee ensures you exclusive access to your function area from 2pm onwards on the day of the function - however if you require an earlier set up time this must be arranged with our Functions Manager and must not interfer with the daily runnings of the Club. 

 

 

Other Additional Information:   

  • Will you bring your own cake? Cake cutting and serving is available for $1.00 per head or $2.50 per head to be served with fresh cream and strawberries.

Ready to Book in your Function?

Please contact our Function's Manager - Anna Bolton on (02) 69 262300 to book your next function.

You must contact Anna directly to determine if the date you require is available. 

 

Anna's Working Hours are:

 

Tuesday 9am - 5pm          Wednesday 9am - 5pm          &         Friday 9am - 3pm

 

After contacting Anna to determine if your date is available - you can now complete the following:

 

1. Please download and read our Wedding Package Booklet

2. Read & Sign the Term's & Conditions Page and 

3. Complete all information on the Function Booking Sheet.

 

The Term's & Conditions Page and Booking Sheet must then be returned to the Club either via Email (scanned) or In Person, plus any booking fee required must now be paid to secure your booking and nominated date.
